K&A Golf is a partnership firm started by two golf professionals – Karan Bindra and Anitya Chand, both staff members of the National Golf Academy of India and ‘A’ level teaching professionals. Both are based at the DLF Golf Academy at the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon, NCR, India.
K&A Golf was started to expand business into areas of retail and distribution; event and player management; and setting up of golf academies and schools across the country.
In areas of retail and distribution, K&A Golf are currently exclusive distributors of Adams Golf golf equipment. The company has represented renowned apparel brand, Glenmuir of Scotland in India. The partners of the company also operate the pro shop at the DLF Golf &Country Club.
K&A Golf has partnered with Scottish High International and set up a golf Academy in the school premises. Taking the game of golf to the schools is an area of great interest to K&A Golf, and the company is also in the process of setting up programs in various other schools.
K&A Golf started in 2008 by managing the Johnnie Walker Amateur Challenge, 12 events across India and Nepal. Over the last four years, K&A Golf has managed many corporate golf tournaments for leading multinational companies including the series of BMW Golf Cup International.
K&A Golf managed the DLF Women’s Indian Open (Ladies Asian Golf Tour) and the SAIL Open (Asian Tour) in 2009. The company has successfully managed the Hero Women’s Indian Open from 2010-12.
K&A Golf co-own the Callaway Junior Golf Tour in association with K&A Golf, a series of junior golf events across the country.
