Energy is supreme. The whole Universe is made with energy. This energy can be used to co-create things that we wish to manifest in our life. It has the power to attract what we want or to push away things that we don’t want in our reality.

However, most of us are unaware of this power. So, we end up using this energy to pull unwanted things into our lives. We attract the same things that we so badly wish we could avoid. This is because we can’t stop thinking about it. Quantum physics explain that ‘what we focus on grows’. When we focus on what we don’t want, we create an energy that will only draw more of it towards us.

So, what are the rules that will make energy work for us and not against us?
How can the energy be used to create a beautiful reality?

Ask yourself ‘what do I want’

Since we are born, someone constantly tells us about what we should do, how we should live, how much should we earn, how should we behave, what career should we choose, when should we get married and how should we handle our relationships. We are so conditioned to do certain things that we never ask ourselves whet do we really want. This lack of clarity is the root cause behind many of our life’s challenges.

We hate our jobs because we are not passionate about it but are caught up in the rat race. We want to opt out of our marriage because we did not want to marry in the first place but had to for the sake of society. We are miserable as parents because we never followed our hearts but went behind those who were miserable at it themselves.

Today, just sit alone and ask yourself these questions-

 What do I really want from life?
 What do I want to achieve?
 What am I passionate about?

Get clarity about your life, your passion, your purpose.

Stop doing things because others asked you to do so and do it because you want to do it. Follow your heart. Don’t be scared of following a different path even if no one had travelled it before. The fear of unknown stops us from stepping out of our comfort zone. But it is only outside our comfort zone that we start to grow. Clarity takes you towards your goal while fear pushes you away from it.

Focus on what you want
Once you have figured out what you want, the next step is to focus on it. However, beware! With so many challenges & distractions, loosing focus is quite easy.
Once a married couple approached me to fix their marriage. Both constantly complained about what the other lacked and how their shortcomings had put their marriage in shambles. What was actually happening was that they were just focusing on each other’s mistakes, directing all their energy into

what was not working for them. By doing so, they were manifesting more reasons to fight and blame. After a few sessions and some self-check exercises, I could bring them to understand the importance of focus and how to use it positively to improve their relationships.

Know that your focus creates your reality. Realign it constantly to ensure that you are actually using your energy in the right direction.
Build a positive self-talk
What is the story of your life?
Do you keep telling what has not been working for you? Do you rave about how your career didn’t go as planned, how opportunities never came your way, or kids who don’t listen to you. A negative self-talk does more harm than you can imagine. It unknowingly trains your brain to focus on roadblocks and challenges instead of training it for ways to overcome them.

So what needs to be done?

Retrain your brain to seek what you want instead of what you don’t want. Change your narrative.Develop a positive mind-set. Move away from negative influences. Stop watching negative content. Instead count your blessings, be in gratitude and use affirmations every morning and night.

You will be surprised to see how a positive self-talk can help you to draw in energy that will reinforce more positivity in your life.
